A group of home school children and their mothers visited the Holley Mountain Airpark and Fire Department on October 7, 2009. They got to see the fire department and trucks, see resident John Oakland in his Piper Dakota do touch and go landings and had their sack lunches in Joyce and Craig Mock’s hangar. They also enjoyed getting a close up of Craig’s Rans airplane.
Before leaving, the youngsters had a paper airplane contest with paper airplanes they had made before coming to the airpark. Some flew better than others. It was described by one of the mothers as the best field trip they had ever had. We were happy to have them as our guests.

A 30 second stop and they're off into the sunset.
More helicopters. Two helicopters visting in one day is really a treat.

A nice couple from Missouri stops by in their new Robinson R44 Raven.
