The Holley Mountain linked "Skywarn" system is a cluster of seven 2-meter repeaters located in northern and central Arkansas, each with a special link receiver and transmitter. The operational hub is located at the present Holley Mountain repeater, just NE of Clinton at the Holley Mountain Airpark.

The National Weather Service forecast office in North Little Rock through volunteer ham operators can access the system during times of severe weather and tests, and can utilize a 2-meter remote base at the Holley site to access repeaters in areas not in the systems' coverage, or with proven greater interest for operators in that area during these situations.

NOTE: For their role in the design and implementation of this system in 1993/94, JoAnn & Jim Collom both received award certificates from Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in 1997 and, because the system still stands outstanding as an emergency communications tool, in September of 2002 Jim received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).
