  Harold, Dixie & Family

Here we are with our youngest daughter Lisa and grandsons Lincoln and Tra in front of our hangar apartment. We have another daughter DeAnn and a son and daughter in law, Mike and Kelli.

Our HMA Story

We were looking for a home away from home
so we could travel light and free
We found it on the Centennial of Flight
in December 2003
As we flew to North Carolina
to see the wright replica fly once more
Holley Mountain Airpark was on the way
where Jim Collom gave the tour
We touched down at 2A2
where our seneca had room to spare
The views were awesome
and we checked out everything with care
We flew off the next morning to continue on our way
Promising ourselves we would come back another day
Within two months we flew back to Holley Mountain
We checked out every lot as our hopes were mounting
In March '04 we came once more
And picked the lot,
the perfect spot
The dream we've sought
And made a place
where we've found grace
To fly and enjoy forever more
